(1)   Rates such as the above are based on pick up and return to the same 
location.  Surcharges and/or higher rates may apply for return to a location 
different from the pickup location.
(2)   Insurance premiums, which may be necessary for an international 
traveler, are extra and can run $10-20 per day.
(3)   In general, the minimum age for the driver is 21, but some companies, 
such as Avis,  have a minimum age of 25.
(4)   Some companies impose a surcharge for drivers age 21-25.  
These surcharges generally run about $10-20 per day.
(5)   Your local driver's license is usually all that is required.  Travelers 
from non-English speaking countries are advised to bring an international 
driver's license.
(6)    Credit cards are the standard means for payment.  Otherwise, it is 
recommended that you make arrangements through your local travel agent.
